Training On Tap
Regina Clayton, the name behind the company, is a 'seasoned' professional IT Tutor who has built an enviable reputation and client base over the past 30 years. Regina's main focus is in designing and delivering uniquely tailored IT Training Programmes to meet the exacting, and always differing, requirements of each and every client.
By the very nature of its geographical location, Training On Tap, provides IT Training principally in the South, West and Mid Wales areas. However, location is certainly no barrier and IT Training projects from further afield are always welcomed - London, the Home Counties and North Wales in particular.
Regina has worked for many years in the Adult Education Field where she still enjoys that personal contact with a variety of people from different walks of life. Her greatest thrill here is when a learner suddenly changes from saying "I can't do it" to "I've done it!" In other words, that magical EUREKA moment.
For those individuals who are perhaps not at their best in a 'classroom' situation, Regina provides one-to-one IT tuition in the client's own home. Tuition for the individual has obvious limitations as to location, but IT training and backup can also be given using the Internet
Regina's main love and expertise is in the business sector where her speciality in developing comprehensive IT training programmes to cover the unique and differing needs of the client company really is the criterion on which her reputation is based.
Over the last five years, the majority of enquiries received have been from those companies who updated from Microsoft 2003 to either 2007 or now the latest - and in my opinon the best yet - 2010. In this respect, Training On Tap's unique 'First Impressions' method and style of IT training is proving very popular.
'First Impressions' is not so much teaching how to use the programs, but rather for those people who have been using earlier versions of Microsoft, a gentle guide pinpointing the user in the right direction,i showing how to navigate the ribbon area, customising the quick access toolbar and generally getting the best out of the new design layout by the use of shortcuts, tips and tricks.
Whatever manner of training the client decides is the 'right' way for them, Regina's infectious enthusiasm for all things IT-related makes the learning process an easy and enjoyable experience.
